韦斯卡（西班牙語：Huesca，西班牙語發音：[ˈweska]）位于西班牙阿拉贡自治区北部，是韦斯卡省的首府。2017年人口52,223人。[4]

历史

罗马时期称Urbs Victrix Osca。塞多留曾以此作为基地反抗苏拉统治下的罗马。8世纪，阿拉伯人征服此地，将其名为瓦什卡（وشقة‎，Washqah），将该城作为对抗比利牛斯山脉的基督教诸国的要塞城市。阿拉贡国王桑丘一世1094年开始围攻该城，但因流矢而亡。1096年，其子佩德罗一世成功攻下该城。1354年，佩德罗四世在此成立了韦斯卡大学（西班牙语：Universidad Sertoriana de Huesca），这所大学在1845年因教育改革而废除[5]。在西班牙内战期间，该城是共和军和弗朗哥军争夺的对象，被称为“韦斯卡前线”，该城遭到共和军的围城，乔治·奥威尔也在其中，但最终并未被共和军攻克。
