Sz'kwa help request

Hello! I have a question about the article sz'kwa, "children's game played in China". I was trying to find the hanzi for this but was not successful. The pinyin is also unusual - does this look correct or would you suggest something else? Please let me know what the hanzi are so I can add it to the article and also if the pinyin should be changed to something more standardized. 谢谢 Kazamzam留言2024年1月11日 (四) 12:36 (UTC)[回复]

@KazamzamThe playing board of sz'kwa is looked like 西瓜棋(Xī Guā Qí). But, I'm not sure that they are the same games. Best wishes. --伞木 留言 2024年1月11日 (四) 13:29 (UTC)[回复]
@KazamzamIt looks like a romanization system used before pinyin was invented. "sz" may be si in pinyin, which could be 四 (four, sì) in "the game of four directions." "kwa" could be gua or kua but I don't know any related word meaning "directions." ——魔琴 留言 贡献 新手2023计划 ] 2024年1月11日 (四) 13:57 (UTC)[回复]
Could be ?--Cookai餅塊🍪💬留言 2024年1月11日 (四) 14:21 (UTC)[回复]
But 卦 does not have the meaning of "directions." I searched 四卦棋 and no results were found. ——魔琴 留言 贡献 新手2023计划 ] 2024年1月11日 (四) 15:12 (UTC)[回复]
Yes, I agree. I'm just saying I think it's reasonable if someone translated a game called "四卦" into "the game of four directions". Of course, it's just a guess.--Cookai餅塊🍪💬留言 2024年1月11日 (四) 15:33 (UTC)[回复]
The only Chinese reference I found is the painting plate (mentioned in #cite_note-Bell1988-3) titled "中國棋" (Chinese Chess)[1], which might not help much.--Cookai餅塊🍪💬留言 2024年1月11日 (四) 14:45 (UTC)[回复]
