btw, can you read and input Chinese? zh.wikipedia.org had been blocked by the China mainland firewall for two times in 2003. Sadly we have no ideas to handle it, just wait for the unblock. --Panda 17:41 2005年3月30日 (UTC)

Sorry I do not know how to input Chinese, I just use "cut-and-paste" operation :) For reading short Chinese phrases, I can look up from a Chinese-Vietnamese dictionary and try to guess the meaning. But how did the Chinese authorities unlock the firewalled? You did remove the disputed articles or they would do that automatically after a certain time?

I found some material about that time, it shows that our administrators and wikimedia foundation had claimed that wikipedia's position and effect to the China government.

• 2004年6月3日：中国大陆部分地区封锁维基百科中文版。
• 2004年6月15日：Mountain和Shizhao向有关当局递交了申请解除网站封锁的材料。几天后中国大陆解除了对维基百科的封锁。
